Kt's Fate Zero Ying-Yang Theory

I just came up with this mind blowing theory for Fate Zero.
I was always surprised when Maiya passionately kissed Kiritsugu. I couldn't just let that scene slide because I was confused about why Kiritsugu would cheat on his beautiful wife Irisviel.

Even so, I kept on watching the series, and then I started coming up with my Ying-Yang Theory.
First of all, notice of Irisviel is a character who wears all white-even her long hair is an unrealistic shade of white. I had to come to the conclusion that this white represented her innocence (her not knowing what kiri is really going through.)

Now notice how Maiya is wearing all black along with her slick black short hair.

And finally, notice how Kiritsugu is also wearing all black. His hair is obviously also black.

That's when I came up with the conclusion of the Ying-Yang theory.

As most of us know, the black (Ying) represents darkness, sin, and evil, while the white (Yang) represents light, innocence, and good. Though Ying & Yang are opposites, both need each other to survive.
Now, tie this Ying-Yang concept back to Fate Zero. Kiritsugu (Ying) and Irisviel (Yang) need each other, which is why they are attracted to each other. Kiritsugu needs light in his life, therefore, Kiritsugu needs Irisviel.

However, though Kiritsugu is encouraged by Irisviel to see more positivity in his life, he can't let go of the darkness that easily, which is where Maiya comes in. Maiya is another representation of Ying. This is why Kiritsugu truly loves her, because he sometimes feels like he can relate more to Maiya than to Irisviel; darkness can relate more to darkness than it can to light. Kiritsugu has also spent much more time with Maiya than he did with Irisviel-especially on the battlefield. Both Maiya and Kiritsugu have had a much more difficult past than Irisviel, which is another reason why both can relate to each other. This is why in episode 20, Maiya's death really takes a blow on Kiritsugu. In the same episode, when Irisviel was lying on the floor, kind of close to death, Kiritsugu didn't look nearly as heartbroken as he did when he saw Maiya dying. Kiritsugu cried for Maiya and not for his own wife, Irisveil.

In conclusion, the reason Kiritsugu ran a scandalous marriage was in order to balance out the light and the darkness in his life.
