Brugge, Belgium

Everyone woke up really late except me. I couldn't sleep so I decided to study for the act. 

We had to drive an hour and 20 minutes to Brugges. We then ate lunch. Everyone got the pomme frites with ketchup and mayonnaise. I also got a pita with taziki sauce and lamb gyro. The gyro reminded me a lot of Med Deli back in Chapel Hill. 

We walked for an hour admiring the view. The buildings looked like gingerbread houses. I just wanted to eat them up. 

There were rivers everywhere. Tourists were riding in river boats everywhere. Swans were also swimming in the lake. I bet they were also judging the tourists because what else do swans have to do if they're locked up next to a river all day?

We went into a church. It was gothic and colorful. 

I also learned that people used to have some pretty hardcore piercings back in the day.

We then ate our daily Belgian waffles. I forgot to take a photo today, sorry. We also visited more chocolatiers and then we went home.
